There is no greater gift we can give ourselves than self-love. Truly owning our authentic-self. Self-love is more than bubble baths and candle light (although those sound lovely). Self-love is about being able to let go of what others think and embrace your authentic self.
It involves being aware of your inner world and needs. And having the courage to express those needs. It also means practicing self-compassion, which entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate. As well as, taking care of ourselves through diet, exercise, sleep, and support.
When we express self-love, we are able to embrace vulnerability. And a mom who is able to love herself radiates beauty because she knows her value.
Lastly, a mom who practices self-love takes takes pride in caring for herself and her home.
